The Beecher City Board of Education has approved a three-year contract with district teachers.

Superintendent Scott Cameron said the agreement, which was approved 7-0, includes pay increases averaging 2.24% per year over the life of the contract. The District also added a personal day for each teacher, and added $15 to the District contribution toward health insurance in the first year, and added $5 in each of the final two years of the contract.

In other business, the Beecher City board voted to prohibit a parent from all school events and from school grounds for the rest of the school year, with the exception of graduation.

The Board then reorganized in the wake of the April election, seating the four members elected in April. Nancy Wolf was on the ballot and was re-elected. The other three are new members who ran as write-in candidates; Jordan Shields, Lee Roadarmel, and Ryan Schafer.
