The St. Anthony Bullpups won the junior high Scholastic Bowl Regional hosted by Sacred Heart School on Wednesday.

In Round One of competition, St. Anthony defeated Sigel St. Michael 180-115. In the second round, Beecher City forfeited to St. Anthony. In the championship round, St. Anthony defeated Sacred Heart 265-100.

Scoring for St. Anthony: Alli Day 60 tossup points, Zach Dust 50, Alex Erickson and Aidan Steineman 40 points each, Makenna Thomas and Liz Day, 30 each, and Cailin Gilpin, Michael Kaldas and Tom Unkraut 10 apiece. Also competing for St. Anthony were Jared Hoene, Luke Rudolphi and Jasmine Meyer. The St. Anthony team is coached by Roberta Meyer and Jan Cunningham.

Sectional play will be hosted by St. Anthony on Monday, May 4.
