A reorganizational meeting in the wake of the April 7 election also saw Buhnerkempe and Niemerg sworn in to new terms and Chad Hewing and Brad Koester sworn in for new tenures on the Board. Burke and Hewing were named to serve on the Teutopolis Educational Foundation Committee, while Niemerg was appointed to the Eastern Illinois Area Special Education Governing Board. Koester will serve as the alternate.

Also Tuesday, the Teutopolis board appointed Myra Pruemer as board treasurer, approved attendance at a Google conference for selected staff members this summer, approved a 10-year health and life safety survey, and agreed to go to bid for property/casualty insurance coverage.

Buhnerkempe and Board member Carl Repking will serve as the representatives at high school graduation, while Repking and Board member Troy Ozenkoski will serve as the representatives at 8th grade promotion.
