Brownstown school board members employed school support personnel for next school year Monday night.

Those employed were Jacy Schaub as district bookkeeper/secretary/treasurer, Ashley Towler as junior/senior high school secretary, Shelly Thomason as elementary secretary, Evelyn Wells, Jodi Winkler and Steve Waltrip as fulltime custodians, Karen Portz, Diana Smith and Nikki Sidwell as fulltime cooks, David Portz, Sam Kistler, Richard Cade, Paul Parkison and Deb Hunter as bus drivers, Callie Laack as school nurse, Verla Reed as library aide, Stacy Sidwell as special education one-to-one aide, Kayla Hingson as pre-K aide, Stacey Summers as one-to-one health aide, and Deb Hunter as part-time district transportation secretary.

Also Monday, the Brownstown board employed Randy Sasse for lawn maintenance this summer and Quality Network Solutions was employed for the district's technology services.

Brownstown board members granted Shannon Claycomb tenured teacher status, and employed non-tenured teacher Nicole McCown for next year.
