An Altamont man has been arrested on alleged sex offenses in Sangamon County.

31-year-old Marc Ohnesorge was arrested on counts of traveling to meet a minor and aggravated criminal sexual abuse as well as two counts of indecent solicitation of a child. Three other men, all from Springfield, have been charged with the same offenses, alleging that they solicited a sex act from a minor over the Internet.

Ohnesorge and the others allegedly made contact with a 15-year-old boy on a social networking site and have allegedly been in contact since 2013.

The men were indicted last week and were picked up by police earlier this week. Ohnesorge was arrested in Effingham County on the charges. His bond has been set at $75,000.

The case is being investigated by the Illinois State Police and the FBI.
