Probable cause was found Monday to hold a Teutopolis resident over for trial in Coles County on counts of aggravated DUI.

19-year-old William Beck is charged in connection with a car crash last October 25 on Illinois 16, two miles west of Ashmore. A vehicle driven by Beck reportedly crossed over the centerline of the highway and collided with a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Alyssa Camp of Kansas, Illinois.

Both Camp and Beck were injured in the crash and both were taken to Carle Hospital in Urbana for treatment.

At the time of the crash, Beck was cited for DUI alcohol, illegal consumption and possession of alcohol by a minor, and improper lane usage. The aggravated DUI counts were filed in November.

Beck is due back in court in March.
