Zoning Board Okays Variance

The Effingham City Zoning Board of Appeals has granted a variance for a construction project.

The Zoning Board approved Karen Erskine's request for a variance for property at 1021 Cardinal Drive. Erskine successfully obtained a variance reducing the south front yard setback to 16 feet from the normally required 30 feet. The reduction in the setback requirement will allow construction of a single story residential addition to her home.
