Baby Injured in Crash in Effingham Friday

A baby was injured in a crash in Effingham Friday afternoon.
Effingham city police say the crash occurred at 3:30pm at the intersection of Fayette and Cherry. A vehicle driven by 30-year-old Brookes Goldsberry of Montrose rear-ended a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Travis Summers of Effingham.
A passenger in the Summers vehicle, one-year-old Madeline Summers of Effingham was injured and was taken by private vehicle to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.
No citations were issued.
