Washington Savings Bank Announces Personnel Changes

Washington Savings Bank President and CEO David Doedtman has announced the bank recently promoted employees to serve in new positions.

Casey Burgholzer has accepted the position as branch manager at the Keller Drive location. Burgholzer had been employed by Centrue Bank since February of 2010 before joining Washington Savings Bank with its acquisition of the Keller Drive facility from Centrue in June 2010. Burgholzer is a graduate of Effingham High School, has received an Associates Degree from Lakeland College in 2012, and holds a 2014 Bachelor Degree from University of Phoenix.

“I'm very excited about this opportunity and look forward to the future opportunities this advancement will bring to my career,” said Burgholzer. “I cannot express enough how much I enjoy the atmosphere here at the bank. Not only do I enjoy spending my workdays with my co-workers, but I enjoy seeing our customers on a regular basis as well.”

Burgholzer resides in Effingham with her husband, Andy They have a 5-year-old daughter and are expecting a baby boy in April. She also is active in the community, including serving as a mentor for the Effingham Unit 40 Mentoring Program.

Greg Bushue has accepted the position of personal banker at the Keller Drive location.  Bushue has worked at the bank for over a year, and will take on the new position of personal banker at the Keller Drive location. Before coming to work at the bank, Bushue worked at Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota as an F&I Manager.

“In my new position, I hope to help customers not only setup new accounts, but help them choose the right account that will meet their needs. We have a variety of account options, and I am here to help,” said Bushue. “I also will be handling consumer loans.”

Bushue, who resides in Effingham, serves as Vice President/President Elect on the YBNext Board and is a member of Knights of Columbus.

Ryan Fearday, who had previously served as the Keller Drive Branch manager has relocated to the Banker Street location where he will focus on consumer and small business lending.
