A grassroots effort is underway to have Adam Andrzewjewski named Illinois Comptroller.

Governor Patt Quinn named his budget director Jerry Stermer as interim comptroller following the death of Judy Baar Topinka, but Governor-elect Bruce Rauner will name a comptroller once he takes office in January. Many who have supported Andrzewjewski's efforts through "For the Good of Illinois" and his "Open the Books" effort to make for more transparency in Illinois government are now proposing him as Rauner's choice for comptroller.

Local resident Susan Petty is working to secure support for Andrzewjewski. Contact her at connection@mchsi.com.
