Three Pedestrians Injured When Struck by Vehicle

Three Effingham youths were injured Monday night when they were struck by a vehicle.

Effingham city police say 13-year-old Andrea Hall, 15-year-old Andrew Hall and 11-year-old Nickolus Hall were crossing the street at the intersection of Keller Drive and Evergreen Avenue when they were struck by a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Timothy E. Brown of Effingham.

All three youths were injured and were taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

City police cited Brown for failure to yield to pedestrians. The incident occurred just before 7:30pm.
