Thousands of Dollars in Wiring Stolen From Local Construction Site

Effingham City Police are asking for the public's help in identifying an individual who stole nearly $4,000 in wiring from the new Honda Dealership in Effingham, still under construction.

City police say that at about 10:48 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, an individual broke into two cargo trailers parked on the dealership's lot, located at 1705 West Fayette in Effingham. Security cameras captured the vehicle suspected in the crime, what appears to be a mid-to-late 90s model Ford F-150, beige or gold in color with chrome running rails and black bed rails.
