The Effingham Regional Incubator Network, a project powered by The Alliance, recognizes Global Entrepreneurship Week which started Monday and will run through this Sunday.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world's largest celebration of innovators and job creators who launch start-ups. Founded in 2008 by the Ewing Marion  Kauffman Foundation, Global Entrepreneurship Week has quickly grown to include more than 25,000 events, activities and competitions during one week in more than 150 countries.

The Effingham Reigonal Incubator Network was designed and funded by The Alliance to inspire entrepreneuers to launch and grow new startups. The Incubator Network provides shared office space, technology, entrepreneurial coaching and educational experiences to enhance skills that will help start-up businesses grow.

"I am excited about the Incubator Network in Effingham County," said Norma Lansing, President of the Effingham County Chamber of Comemrce. "We have several new start-up businesses taking advantage of the opportunities. Our focus now is communication to the next genration of entrepreneurs that these support services are here and available."
