Pedestrian Struck by Car in Effingham

An Effingham resident was injured when struck by a vehicle Monday night.

City police say 19-year-old Cameron Brasier of Effingham walked into the path of a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Megan Nuxoll of Effingham at the intersection of Evergreen and Merchant at 8:13pm.

Brasier was injured and was taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

No citations were issued.
