South Central Board Handles Several Personnel Matters

South Central school board members this week dealt with several personnel matters.

The Board accepted a letter of resignation from Derrick Jones as middle school Scholar Bowl coach. Several people were appointed to positions, including Tyler Parker as JV and 5th and 6th grade basketball coach, Chris Long as high school girls' basketball assistant, Kim Major as freshman class and National Honor Society sponsor, Michelle Hawkins as high school yearbook sponsor, Shauna Willman as middle school Scholar Bowl coach and Claire Potthast as junior class sponsor.

The Board also approved a Family and Medical Leave Act leave for Sue Hawkey.

South Central board members also agreed to seek a state library grant.
