The Neoga and Windsor school boards held a joint meeting Wednesday night.

Neoga School Board President Tina Moore said the meeting, much of which was held in closed session, was an opportunity to meet and discuss "moving forward in today's climate".

Neoga's board is discussing a variety of options to cut costs and enhance revenues. The members are also dealing with the impending retirement of Neoga Superintendent Charles Castle at school year's end and how to fill the vacancy.

Moore said there was no action taken in open session at the meeting.
