NFIB Backs Oberweis in US Senate Race

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin's Republican challenger has gained a business endorsement.

The National Federation of Independent Business has cast its support behind Jim Oberweis. NFIB official Lisa Goeas says she chose the candidate because of his strong pro-business position.

State Senator Oberweis has a 100 percent NFIB voting record. Incumbent Durbin has a 25 percent lifetime voting record with the business group.
