The Neoga Board of Education acted on some personnel moves at this month's meeting.

The Board employed Darin Hansen as boys junior high basketball coach for the coming season, Amy Brown as Technical Director, and authorized Superintendent Charles Castle to hire a bus driver.

Board members also looked into contracts to consider bidding or renewing for energy, insurance and snow removal. Information was shared with the Board about the HVAC system at the middle school experiencing some issues.

Castle presented the Board with information from the State Superintendent's message on a Senate Bill that would restructure the General State Aid formula. The Board also voted to approve busing requests from St. Mary's Church, and approved Bass Fishing as an activity at Neoga High School for this school year.

Board members approved a $25 activity fee for anyone wishing to participate in the high school musical, and passed the budget for the fiscal year.
