Update on Marshall Bank Robbery Suspects

Three suspects, believed to have been involved in a string of at least 10 bank robberies over a four-state area, are in custody at the Hamilton County, Ohio Jail. Among the bank robberies were the incidents at First Financial Bank in Marshall and the bank in Oakland, Illinois. Both Illinois banks were robbed in mid-August, a few days apart.

The suspects are 32-year-old Jeremiah Kellems of Waldron, Indiana; 32-year-old Curtis Sims of Shelbyville, Indiana; and 22-year-old Evan Stewart, also from Indiana.

Marshall police and Illinois State Police Zone 7 Investigations at Effingham are working in conjunction with Ohio authorities and the FBI to further the investigation.
