Three people were injured in a Clay County crash over the weekend when a SUV struck a parked pickup truck.

State police say the SUV driven by 44-year-old Timothy Hightower of Xenia crossed the centerline and the oncoming lane and struck the disabled pickup driven by 51-year-old Jamey Tolliver of Clay City. Hightower and Tolliver were injured, as was Hightower's passenger, 34-year-old Shane Hightower of West Salem. All three of those injured were taken to Clay County Hospital in Flora for treatment.

Timothy Hightower was cited for DUI and improper lane usage and other charges are pending.

The crash happened at 11:10am Saturday on US 50 at the east edge of Flora.
