Well over 300 entries made for a festive Grand Finale Parade to help conclude the Teutopolis Terquasquicentennial Celebration Sunday.

More than a week of activities had helped village residents celebrate their 175th birthday. The week of events, though, followed activities that had taken place since May including the First Ladies introduction, the Bury Ray Zore night, and the antics of the Keystone Kops.

In this photo, you'll notice that the Kops Hoosgow came to a sad end over the weekend.

To paraphrase, it took a village to make the celebration such a success. Who knows what we'll see in 25 years when Teutopolis celebrates its 200th birthday?
