Crash in Effingham Results in Three Injuries

Three people were injured in a crash at 3rd and Evergreen in Effingham.

The crash happened at 5:10pm. City police report a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Alicia Barnick of Montrose rear-ended a vehicle driven by 62-year-old Claudia Bowman of Neoga.

Bowman was injured, but refused treatment. Two passengers in Bowman's vehicle, 57-year-old Ward Cave of Neoga and 61-year-old Ricky Finley of Neoga, were injured and were taken by private vehicle to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

No citations were issued.
