City EMA Hosts 4th of July Parade

A 4th of July parade featuring floats, flags and free stuff marched through the streets of Effingham Friday afternoon.

The Effingham City Emergency Management Agency sponsored the procession, which used the EHS Homecoming Parade route on its way from downtown to Effingham High School.

Effingham Mayor Merv Gillenwater served as parade marshal:
