The Village of Farina 4th of July Celebration will start at 2pm Friday with signup for the parade at the old grade school building except for horse entries, which should be registered at Kelly Welch's house.

The parade will step off at 3pm, with games starting in the park at 4pm. Bingo and the cakewalk will begin at 5pm with music provided by the South Central High School and Middle School Music Department.

At 6pm, American Legion Post #411 will conduct the opening ceremony, presentation of the colors, and the National Anthem by Kyla Stevens. Artie the Clown's presentation of Noah's Ark will begin at 6:15pm, followed by music from the Sampson Jones Gang from 7pm until the fireworks display at 9:15pm.

Following the fireworks, music will be provided by Jamie Nattier and Denise Alexander at 9:45pm to wrap up the day's events.

There will be a raffle drawing, a military display, homemade ice cream, sandwiches, and drinks. Organizers remind that Farina's 4th celebration is a family celebration, so please don't take alcohol.
