Concealed Carry Applicants Can Apply By Phone

People can now apply for a concealed carry permit over the phone in Illinois.

The Illinois State Police have launched a hotline that allows applicants to call in with their address history for the past 10 years, their driver's license or state ID information, FOID card information, and details that prove they've taken the required training course. That means you'll need to have your training instructor's name and trainer ID number.
