The murder case of Christine Burr might not go to trial.

The 57-year-old Burr faces three counts of first degree murder and a count of concealment of a homicidal death. Burr is charged with stabbing Joseph Delaney of Effingham and then helping her daughter and the daughter's boyfriend dispose of Delaney's body in a rural part of Jasper County.

The daughter and boyfriend have already pleaded guilty to concealment of a homicidal death.

During a brief court appearance Monday morning, Burr's case was re-set for "possible plea" at 11am Thursday before Judge Kimberly Koester. Burr's trial is set to begin next Monday.
