Two people were injured over the weekend in a crash in Jasper County.

State police say the crash occurred at 2:37am Sunday in a rural part of the county. A vehicle driven by 19-year-old Caleb Piercefield of Olney ran through a stop sign and ended up in a ditch.

Two back seat passengers were injured; 16-year-old Taylor Radke of Olney and 17-year-old Caleb Dial of Parkersburg. Radke and Dial were taken to Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney for treatment.

Piercefield was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
