Testimony continues today in the murder trial of Charles Yoder.

An agent with the State Police Division of Crime Scene Services was testifying at mid-morning as to the location of the knife found about a block and a half from the crime scene that prosecutors say is the murder weapon, and of a flashlight the defense contends was being used by Ted Debany on another individual when they say Yoder intervened on the other man's behalf.

The 53-year-old Yoder faces three counts of first degree murder in Debany's stabbing death in May of 2013.

Tuesday's witnesses included Yoder's sister, Elizabeth Walters, who shared a house with Yoder and Debany and who the defense tried to discredit as a reliable witness regarding what happened during the incident.

Effingham County State's Attorney Bryan Kibler said he plans to seek a term of life in prison for Yoder should he be found guilty of murder.
