An Effingham woman was injured in a noon hour crash Wednesday near Effingham High School.

The crash was reported to Effingham City Police at 12:31pm.  Police report a vehicle driven by 30-year-old April Fleshner left the roadway at Henrietta Street and US 40.  The vehicle struck a curb and crashed into a CSX Railroad signal house before coming to a stop just north of the railroad tracks.

Fleshner was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.  Police cited Fleshner for improper lane usage.
