An Effingham man was injured when struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon.

City police report 19-year-old Harley Thomas ran into the path of a vehicle driven by 16-year-old Dylan Depoister of Effingham at Fayette and Mulberry just after 4:30pm.

Thomas was injured, but refused treatment.  No tickets were issued.
