One Injured in Weekend Crash in City

One person was injured in a crash that occurred over the weekend in Effingham.
The crash occurred at 2:40pm Saturday at the intersection of West Fayette and the interstate on-ramp.
City police say a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Felipe Castro of Waterloo, Wisconsin, turned into the path of, and was struck by, a motorcycle operated by 41-year-old Lisa Hobler of Effingham.
Hobler was injured and was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.
Police cited Castro for failure to yield.
