Fundraising Continues in the Effort to Build Willow Park in Memory of Willow Long, Information on How You Can Help

Work continues in the effort to build Willow Park in Watson, in memory of Willow Long. As the park's dedication fast approaches, organizers are working to raise the funds needed to make the memorial a reality.

The Dieterich Community Ruritan Club made a $250.00 donation to help with the construction. Presenting the check to DeAnna McWilliams (Willow Park) are Rob Arnold and Robert Bohnoff of the Ruritan Club.

Employees of the Patterson Technology Center raised funds by holding a casual week for Willow Park. Presenting the check are (l-r) Roy Shelley, Julia Bizzell, Dave Ring (Willow Park) , Ali Schuette, Corine McMillian and Rosalie Nasser.

Carol & Matt Stead made a personal donation, and are shown presenting a check to Dave Ring. The Steads made a $500 donation towards building the park.

Teutopolis State Bank also made a donation to help the park's development. Shown presenting a check to Willow Park are (l-r) Judy Wells, Marlene Hoene, Dave Ring (accepting for Willow Park), Hank Koester and Marti Breer.
