A group of local businessmen are sponsoring a National Day of Prayer Breakfast.

The event will take place on Thursday, May 1 at 7:30am at the Keller Convention Center.  The breakfast is free, but tickets are needed for admission.  A love offering will be taken and the money given will go to help with the ministry of Pastor Tony Munoz and Iglesia Bautista Latina church in Effingham.  Tony and the church are helping meet the spiritual needs of those in the Hispanic community.  Iglesia Bautista Latina's building is located just north of Calvary Baptist Church of Effingham, along Shelby Avenue.

Pastor Munoz will be the keynote speaker and there will be personal testimonies sharing about the power of prayer.

Again, admission to the breakfast is free, but a ticket is needed for admission.  Tickets are available at the WXEF/WKJT studios at Fayette and Maple, and at the Tom Henderson State Farm Insurance Office downtown at 122 East Section Avenue.
