A Jasper County grand jury has indicted three individuals on drug charges.

Jasper County State's Attorney Kevin Parker said the panel heard evidence of a lengthy multi-agency investigation conducted by the Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force in cooperation with the Newton Police Department and the Jasper County Sheriff's Department.

Those indicted are 30-year-old Jessica A. Dilley of Wheeler, 36-year-old Joshua Hill of rural Wheeler and 45-year-old Terry Miller of Newton.  Dilley was indicted on counts of methamphetamine delivery and possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials.  Hill is charged with methamphetamine and heroin delivery as well as possession of meth manufacturing materials.  Miller is charged with delivery of controlled substances namely hydrocodone.

Parker said the three are being held in Jasper County Jail in Newton.  Dilley is slated to make a court appearance with her attorney on April 15, while Hill and Miller will each appear on May 20.

Parker complimented the cooperative efforts of law enforcement for bringing the investigations to the grand jury.  He said, "We are definitely seeing a resurgence of methamphetamine and other dangerous drugs throughout the county. It is good to know our police are staying on top of the problem.
