Two Motorcycle Thefts in City

Effingham city police are investigating the theft of two motorcycles in recent days.

A Yamaha XT 350 motorcycle was stolen from a garage in the 800 block of South 4th Street between March 29 and just after 6:30am Friday.  The cycle, owned by Bryce Ash of Effingham, is valued at $2,500.

A Harley Davidson cycle was stolen from a residential backyard in the 800 block of West Jefferson Avenue between 5:30pm Saturday and 10:58am Sunday.  The cycle, owned by Kelly McWhorter of Effingham, is valued at $5,000.
