The Teutopolis Board of Education Monday re-hired district administrators and approved administrator contracts for next school year on the same terms and salary as this school year.

Last year, administrators took a voluntary cut to help with a lean budget.

The Board approved summer employees: Sharon Wallace in the bus garage, Josh Cottrill and Melinda Bloemer at the high school, Teri Heuerman at the junior high school, Cheryl McLeod at the grade school, and Dan Blankenship and Tess Borries in the Tech Department.  The Board also approved Brian Haskenherm as high school assistant soccer coach, and contracted with the Regional Office of Education for alternative education services again next year.

Board members amended the school year calendar to reflect the recent snow day.  Junior high promotion will now be held on Friday, May 30 and the Teacher Institute will be on Monday, June 2.  The Board approved a revised date of retirement of May 30 for teacher Chris Mette, and approved an honorable reduction in teaching time for Phil Lewis from 3/7 this year to 1/7 next school year.
