The murder trial of local resident Charles Yoder has again been continued, this time until June.

Yoder is charged with the stabbing death of Ted Debany of Effingham last May 7.

Public Defender Scott Schmidt said his court-appointed investigator is still compiling information in the case.  The May trial calendar is already full, so Judge Kimberly Koester continued Yoder's case to the June trial date.

Yoder's trial is now set to begin June 2.  A pre-trial hearing on any pending motions will now be held on May 1.

Yoder is being held without bond in Effingham County Jail.
