St. Elmo resident Heaven Davis is to go on trial in June on a count of endangering the life or health of a child.

The 24-year-old Davis is charged with leaving her one-year-old daughter Addison Scott of St. Elmo in the care of an underage person during which time Addison died.

Davis is set to stand trial May 27.  A pre-trial hearing is set for March 26.

Davis is free on bond.  Her original bond of $100,000 was reduced to $35,000 during a February 12 court hearing.  She was ordered to have no contact with minor children without adult supervision, and cannot reside with children under 18 years old.
